Preventative Maintenance Programs

Like all equipment, your generator needs periodic maintenance to ensure it works when the lights go out. Our preventive maintenance programs will find problems before they become major problems. These programs include scheduled inspections, fluid and filter change, fluid analysis and load bank testing.

24-7 Repair

There is no telling when the power will go out, which is why PowerGen offers 24/7 emergency repair service.  Our service trucks are well stocked with parts that commonly fail.  We will work through the night to get your business back up and running.

Load Bank Testing

Emergency generators rarely run under heavy loaded conditions.  This can create performance issues as well as not providing an accurate test on the reliability of the unit.  Scheduling a load bank once a year can help ensure everything is running at full efficiency and also satisfy the requirements of NFPA and J.C.A.H.O.

Fluid Analysis

Testing the the fluids of your unit can identify problems that cannot be seen by the naked eye.  Early detection is the key to reducing downtime and saving money.  Testing engine oil can check for the proper viscosity, abnormal engine wear and overall engine health.  Coolant testing will detect if contaminants are present and additive depletion is occurring.  Diesel fuel testing will check for water in the fuel and biological contamination.
